Occam's Whatzor?
Occam's Razor is an improvisational comedy troupe at the University of Chicago. Founded in 1999, we're named after and inspired by a principle of 14th-century English mathematician Sir William Occam. Paraphrased: Among multiple explanations for the same phenomena, the simplest is the best. In other words, keep it simple, fresh, and funny.
Most recently, Occam's Razor has appeared in The 4th annual College Improv Festival sponsored by the College Improv Tournament as well as USC's Fracas! Improv Festival featuring teams from around the United States and beyond.
"This troupe made up of University of Chicago students delivers distinctly manic performances, reveling in the absurd."--TimeOut Chicago Nov. 3, 2005
